It was a 3am start, dark and very wet, but… WE DID IT!
On Saturday 30th July, eight of us tackled the incline of Mount Snowdon. The conditions were not pleasant, and the visibility was poor but the team spirit and determination was high and kept us going.
So, why did we put ourselves through this? One word – Zarach.
Our goal is to raise money and awareness of a very worthy UK charity, Zarach, who help children and families living in poverty crisis by providing a bed bundle which includes a bed, mattress, duvet, pillow, bedding, pyjamas and a hygiene pack.
Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. A child arriving at school tired and hungry is less likely to engage and less likely to succeed. Zarach's mission is to bring lasting and positive change to children growing up in the grips of poverty crisis.
So far, we have raised just shy of £1300 and Desoutter UK has offered to double the amount we reach.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has shown us their support, thank you.
